| I graduated from GDHS 1972. I
married Paul Stade (pronounced Staw-dee) from Elliot Lake in 1974. I started my degree in Phys Ed & Paul finished his BA. We then moved to Acadia U in Wolfville N.S. where I got my PHT (putting hubby through) working in the University Library, while he completed his Master of Divinity. In 1980 we moved to Costa Rica with our 16 month old daughter to study Spanish. From there we moved to Bolivia where we lived & worked for 3 years. We returned to live in Georgetown for a year in 1983-84 with our 3 children. Our two boys were both born in Bolivia. We pastured a small church in the farming community of Springford near Tillsonburg for 7 years & then returned to Bolivia where Paul taught in the seminary, training the nationals to be pastors. I was able to use my training in Phys Ed at the international school our 3 kids attended. (I was in charge of the P.E program & even got to write my own curriculum using the available equipment because there wasn't anything recorded from previous year) :-) We returned back to Canada in 1995 and moved to Kingsville in 1996 where we have been pasturing the Baptist church here in town. Our three kids are now all married & living in Thunder Bay, Edmonton & Winnipeg. We will be moving on to another church someday soon... when we know where I will keep you posted.
