Interesting to see what happens over the years. From a happy pudgy grade niner to a rather unhappy looking grade twelver.

My name is Roger Gadd I went to GDHS from 1961 to a few weeks before my final exams in grade 12 1965. I eventually got my grade 12 by going to day school dressed in my police uniform. I married the girl next door (5 houses) Iris Maile. We both lived on Ann St right near the back of Wildwood. We have been married 31 years and she is the blight, I mean the light of my life. We never had any children but wasn't due to the lack of trying. I have been very fortunate in that I have had many different careers ranging from Draftsman to Policeman, Heating and ventilation and recently a project manager for the World Games here in Edmonton where I was responsible in making sure the city was decorated as per designs. We have traveled the world, living in a VW van for almost 2 years over Europe and Australia. Later on we bought a big motorhome and traveled North America for more than a year and a half. Right now I am in transition (which happens a lot) trying to decide which fork in the road to take. The one to Vancouver Island is beginning to look interesting. As my mother in law and my two sisters Rhona and Barbara still live Ontario and some still in Georgetown I used to go there quite often. I flew back in November and saw two of my oldest and first friends in Canada, Bill McKeown and Paul Thompson. I remember some of the names that crop up from time to time even though I don't respond it is very interesting to see. Maybe now that I have some time I can participate in some of these oldy goldy memories.
