I graduated from GDHS (grade
13) in 1972. I moved to Toronto, where I met my first husband, Bob
Langdon. We were happily married for two short years, until he succumbed
to a brain tumor in July '78. We had no children. In Sept. '78, I moved to Alberta, to attend Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills. During my Sr. year there, I met Ian Flewelling. We were married on Feb. 13/82, and have always lived in the Edmonton area. We have seven children, ages 19 down to 2 1/2. Some quick mental arithmetic will reveal the fact that I was 46 when I gave birth to our youngest! Much of my family still lives in or near Georgetown. My grandparents were Martin and Mary (nee King) Cummins, my dad was Jim Cummins, who died in 1960. My mom is Willena Everett. My brother, Stuart Everett, has been driving a taxi in G'town for years. My husband is a computer tech, and our 17-year-old son has worked alongside his dad since last summer, doing the same job. I am a stay-at-home mom, in my thirteenth year of homeschooling our children. All nine of us live in a 1250 sq. ft mobile home, and we share our cozy home with two hamsters, four gerbils, a cat and a dog. :) |
